Formed in October of 2007,
The Dave Trio plays mostly
instrumental/improv funk and jazz with the occasional lyric thrown in. Featuring the Daves of
funkUs and
Tangus Shat,
Dave and Dave and Dave "accidentally" came together at a
Full Sail studio session and soon realized that they made a pretty darn
good trio... The Dave Trio, in fact.
While they have lost one of the original Daves and another goes on hiatus, the D3 continue to throw down the groovy jams (often with special
guest musicians) every week
continuing FUNK! Mondays at Underground Bluz near the
University of Central Florida.
In just a few short months the D3 have gotten music lovers to their feet, dancing
all night long in cities across Florida, including St. Petersburg, Tampa, Orlando, Daytona Beach, Lake Buena Vista, and Cocoa Beach.
